Born and raised in the small town of Krollville, Chubby has lived a full life in his twelve years. In order to put food on the family table, Chubby and his younger sister Lil spend their afternoons after school hunting the dense forest of Krollville for rabbit and other small game.

Chubby attends The Heinz Krickenbacher School of Eternal Mercy, Prosperity and Letters where he is enrolled in the sixth grade. Along with eleven other students, Chubby is under the tutelage of Ernold Schelling, a failed poet and childhood rival of Chubby’s mother.

It’s through Chubby’s eyes that the people and places of Krollville are seen in Chubbyfire.
